Stolen Picture is the brainchild of Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, created to devise and produce entertainment in line with the unique voice they have developed over twenty years of working together.
Nick is an actor, writer and producer. He started his career in the acclaimed British comedy, Spaced, working alongside best mate, Simon Pegg. The pair went on to star in The Cornetto Trilogy of movies – Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz and The World’s End – before going on to co-write and co-star in Paul, their alien adventure comedy that became an international box office hit. Nick and Simon also brought the Thompson Twins to life in Stephen Spielberg and Peter Jackson’s The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn. Nick’s many film credits include Richard Curtis’ The Boat That Rocked, Joe Cornish’s Attack The Block and Stephen Merchant’s Fighting With My Family. Recent international TV roles include Into the Badlands (AMC), Why Women Kill (CBS), The Nevers (HBO) and Truth Seekers (Amazon Prime). As well as starring in Truth Seekers, Nick co-wrote the series and served as an Executive Producer. He is currently writing a horror feature for Stolen Picture.
Simon is an actor, writer and producer. He co-wrote and co-starred in the critically acclaimed British comedy Spaced, appearing alongside best mate Nick Frost. Simon developed and co-wrote Shaun of the Dead with Edgar Wright, starring as the eponymous hero, Shaun. Simon and Edgar went on to write Hot Fuzz and The World’s End, completing the Cornetto Trilogy in which Simon and Nick co-star. Simon and Nick then co-wrote and co-starred in their alien adventure feature, Paul, with Seth Rogen and Sigourney Weaver. Simon stars as Montgomery Scott (“Scotty”) in J.J. Abrams’ acclaimed reboot of the Star Trek films and wrote the screenplay for Star Trek Beyond. He also stars as Benji Dunn in the hit movie franchise Mission: Impossible. Recent TV roles include The Boys (Amazon Studios) and Truth Seekers (Amazon Prime), which he also co-wrote. Simon is currently writing several TV projects for Stolen Picture.
Simon and Nick are best mates, long term collaborators and the founders of Stolen Picture. Since first working together on acclaimed British comedy Spaced, they have subsequently starred together in the Cornetto Trilogy of movies - Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz and The World’s End – and in Paul, their alien adventure feature which they also co-wrote.
